Aeroporti di Roma (Rome Airports - ADR) and ESA Space Solutions are pleased to announce that they have signed a Memorandum of Intent, aimed at supporting the development and validation of innovative space-based applications and services for ground/air sustainability, mobility and operations. The objective is to join forces to provide an even stronger contribution to startups and the airport innovation ecosystem.
Together, the two organisations will share best practice, expertise and ideas, and cooperate in order to analyse, develop, and support the implementation of space-enabled innovative products and services to build the airport and air mobility of the future.
ADR has a strategic interest in supporting innovative solutions that help its development strategy of innovative projects, thus, as first step of the cooperation, ADR is cooperating with ESA on the Space for Infrastructure call which will offer funding to develop innovative space-based solutions addressing ADR priorities on infrastructure monitoring.
