The SmartGrids feasibility study delivers the benefits of space based assets to energy network stakeholders. Technologies such as cloud computation and deep learning are coupled with multispectral satellite imagery, SAR, GNSS, and satellite communications to develop strongly scaling, novel, bespoke cost efficient services capable of supporting and enhancing existing operations.

AirTracks compromises a flexible and cost-efficient Flight Information Service for enhanced aircraft safety during approach and departure at small and medium airports and airfields. AirTracks combines various aircraft surveillance information (ADS-B, RADAR, FLARM, etc) in the vicinity of the airfield. The information will be visualized on a web based display, showing the relevant/customized ancillary information layers in a user-friendly way e.g. flight plan, aeronautical charts, meteorological information as well as safety related notifications to aircraft pilots (NOTAMS).

The Beeline Cycle Routing project involves creating a routing engine and underlying mapping data to mimic human intelligence in route selection for cyclists. Traditional routing engines simply optimize for shortest distance or time. Beeline’s solution is intended to allow for optimization for safety, pleasantness, quietness of route and other parameters important to cyclists.

The SeaUrchin is an affordable state-of-the-art wearable surf tracker, being developed by Kittiwake Labs Ltd in Cornwall, UK. The SeaUrchin tracker takes advantage of GNSS for tracking surfer sessions and applies novel data analysis for session characterisation and to monitor progress.

Adaptix are Transforming Diagnostic Imaging by bringing low-cost, low-dose mobile 3D imaging to patients.  Today, common conditions such as fractures, cancer and lung disease are initially assessed by 2D X-ray which gives a fundamentally limited view of our 3D bodies. The products being developed in this project will deliver fast, accurate 3D imaging to these patients.

Telemachus is a telemedicine tool answering the need to contain the spread of COVID-19 virus by digitalising the interaction between Patients, General Practitioners and Health Authorities, as well as by allowing the monitoring of the health conditions of healthcare workers within hospitals. Telemachus aims to support the fight against COVID-19 through the remote treatment and monitoring of vital parameters of patients, thanks to a smart bracelet and a mobile app.
