The objective of the FAMOS project is to improve the claim management, loss adjustment and sales capabilities for forest and agriculture damage insurances. The service also covers the needs of additional stakeholders from the forest domain. Combining earth observation, IT technology and GNSS, the service supports target users by improving the efficiency of existing business processes.

The PLIMM service provides ground motion mapping across the Greater London area by combining multiple datasets such as GNSS and InSAR using ‘big data’ pattern analysis. The output is presented through a custom API enabling a better understanding of infrastructural assets, increasing the efficiency of the service and implementing a condition-based maintenance which reduces costs to the asset owner.

Nostalgeo is a location-based platform to preserve & experience the streetview of the past. The interactive tool allows users to explore, compare, upload & fit old streetviews in relation to the streetview of today. A location-based API service allows other users/developers to access historical streetview data over whole Europe and integrate it into their own (touristic) applications.

e2E intends to offer more affordable data communication services into niche markets currently underserved from existing infrastructure or where traditional satellite delivery is too expensive. The core of the service concept builds on two key technologies that have been developed with small airborne IDP networks in mind that incudes RPAS, HAPS and small satellites.

The MULDIARCOS project will implement and demonstrate a cohesive end-to-end delivery chain of satellite and metocean data. The focus is on maritime operations in harsh Arctic regions. Such operations often have a need of fast and regular Earth Observation and weather information. Streamlined and effective ordering, delivery procedures and user-interfaces are a necessity in the operations due to limited and expensive communication channels to the vessels.

High Precision Navigation System for Trucks

The project analyses the feasibility of an assistance service for drivers of truck-trailer combinations while reverse parking. This is a challenging maneuver because of the complex dynamics and difficult tilt determination between truck and trailer. The service provides GNSS-based information about position, headings and tilt angle of trucks and trailers, steering wheel guidance and predicted trajectory visualization in images from satellites and a rear-mounted camera.

The aim of the present demonstration project is to develop an Enhanced Flood Forecasting System for Critical Infrastructure Protection in medium size Alpine catchments. The service is designed to address infrastructure located either on the river itself (e.g. bridge) or in the floodplain (e.g. a building).

KORE helps farmers and agronomists manage their crops and exploit new precision agriculture techniques to increase crop yields. To achieve this, KORE augments an already successful agronomy service, EssentialsMap. Remote sensing and satellite navigation techniques are used to easily survey fields. This provides farmers and agronomists with cost effective information on crop growth and crop health.
