This demonstration project aims at demonstrating how a notification service using space data can help greenhouse owners to prevent or mitigate non-insurable risks threatening their business, and thereby save costs.

MonICATO

MoniCATO proposes a backward compatible solution to secure the use of satellite-derived time in devices used by power grids (like PMUs - Phasor Measurement Units), combining authenticated Galileo signals, digital identity and Distributed Public Key Infrastructure (DPKI). Overall, the project proposes a new concept for the secure transmission of timing data among the nodes of the network and offers enhanced services for the monitoring of intentional interfering and cyber-attacks against GNSS signals and network devices.

GSOT

The main goal of this project is to create an augmented reality system for the 50ha Grunwald battlefield site in Poland. Visitors will be able to download the application to their smartphones and learn more about the history of the battle while visualising the deployment of all forces on site.

Fusion Platform®

The Fusion Platform® by Digital Content Analysis Technology Ltd, D-CAT, delivers a range of flexible, affordable APIs and software services to: remotely detect and classify weeds; detect frost damage; provide remote predictions of yield months prior to harvest; estimate pasture biomass on demand. The price/performance service selections arise from the algorithm/AI marketplace, where developers monetise and market their offerings globally.

Soft-Alpha

Soft commodities, such as soy and sugar, and their related financial derivatives, are widely traded on exchanges worldwide. At present, production data is only made available at fixed points through the year (usually after the growing season). The Soft Alpha project, co-funded by the European Space Agency under its Business Applications programme, provides predictive analysis on soft commodity crop performance based on EO derived data, in a sector that is currently dependent on historical data. 

COSPARIN

The objectives of this project are the improvement in developing vulnerability analysis with spatial data and the development of a world real-time precipitation assessment, via several algorithms that correlate infrared satellite images in order to make an operational flood risk management. These data could be also used to competent organizations to ensure real-time management crisis.

BFPaaS

The terrain profiles play increasingly critical role in the risk assessment of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) operations planning and related risk assessment.The BFPaaS service is aimed to create an automated system providing terrain profile (derived from the Sentinel-1 radar imagery and other data sources) along the pre-defined route.

TeleAssist

TeleAssist is an Augmented Reality (AR) platform that consists of AR glasses and a specialized communication platform integrating satellite-based communication capabilities. For mobile healthcare professionals it improves the delivery and improvement of remote care in rural, poverty, and conflict areas, along with global assistance to mobile emergency care.
