Objectives of the service

Symbiose Management addresses the challenges faced by forest owners, institutional investors, and insurers in managing and valuing forest assets. Today, forest monitoring relies on costly, time-consuming field surveys that provide limited insights, making it difficult to assess risks, optimize asset value, and meet regulatory requirements like Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR).

Our platform integrates high-resolution Earth Observation (EO) data with artificial intelligence to deliver real- time, high-precision forest insights. The solution provides:

  • Monitoring forest ecosystems and carrying out risk assessments to optimize forestry decisions.

  • Automating valuation models to support forest pricing and carbon market integration.

  • Supporting certification to streamline compliance and sustainable investment strategies.

This activity aims to validate the service feasibility by developing and testing its core functionalities, engaging with target users, and refining technical and business assumptions.

By leveraging high-performance computing (HPC) for model calibration, Symbiose ensures a scalable, cost- effective, and regulatory-compliant solution to support the future of sustainable forest management.
