SATLAS

SATLAS is an initiative coordinated and supported by SES and its partners, dedicated to turn innovative ideas into successful applications. It aims to support innovators, with or without prior experience in space technology, in the design, development and testing of new services or applications which make use of satellite telecommunications and helps them take their ideas to the next level – to eventually turn them into a viable new SATCOM product offering to the market.

Applications Factory

The Applications Factory is an initiative with ViaSat UK and partners dedicated to promote the development, implementation and validation of innovative ideas contributing to the High Capacity Satellite (HCS) ecosystem of ViaSat.

The initiative, which is implemented via a dedicated project as part of the ARTES Competitiveness & Growth Programme, has a focus on accelerating Europe's growth as a centre of excellence and innovation in the space industry through the rapid developemnt of new HCS products, applications and services.
