The new ACCESS programme
The new ACCESS programme, to be implemented from 27 November 2025, builds on the sound and trusted foundations of ESA’s existing ScaleUp, and Business Applications and Space Solutions (BASS).
Under ACCESS, BASS will continue to bring exciting new opportunities for business with new frameworks and streamlined application processes.
The current Call for Proposals will close on 25 November 2025 for the submission of Activity Pitch Questionnaires (APQs).
New Calls for Proposals will be launched from December 2025 – watch this space for new opportunities.
Any ongoing projects, started before 25 November, are unaffected and will continue as normal.

Urine contains all the nutrients needed to fertilise plants. However it is considered a waste and most of these nutrients are currently discharged in nature. VunaNexus develops technologies that enable the recycling of all nutrients contained in urine to transform them into natural fertilisers. One of the first pilot systems is installed at the ESA HQ in Paris.
