Loss of water through damaged pipes is one of the biggest problems in the global distribution of drinking water. To make leak detection easier, we sell our customers a T.O.M.-System for use by own specialist staff or offer a qualified service for leak detection through Turn-off metering. Necessary information about the pipe network is documented in an online portal.

 

CMM

Status date: 28 July 2021

Crop Mycotoxin Management (CMM) offers a service for an efficient management of mycotoxin contamination in wheat production. Satellite-based earth-observation data are derived to crop information and combined with terrestrial data sources to assess the infield disease risk during vegetative growth and the risk of mycotoxin accumulation at harvest. Such information support farmers in site-specific scouting activities, variable-rate applications of fungicides and selective harvesting to exclude mycotoxin contaminated grains. Furthermore, the service provides information on the regional yield in terms of quality level of wheat.

ZPR

The aim of the project is to give MPAs (Marine Protected Areas), National Research Institutes, NGO and as well as marine operators access to advanced technologies as artificial intelligence (AI), robotics and space technologies, that could help, favourite and accelerate marine conservation. 

Specifically, the project will allow the data mining of coastal marine habitats through embedded AI on satNav localized underwater explorer-class drones and surface vessels whose autonomous survey are optimized by cloud AI and Earth Observations (EO), creating web dashboards for MPAs to access all the marine habitats data, trends and alerts, and share them all within their community.

SmartCane

SmartCane provides agronomic and management information derived from remote sensing to commercial sugarcane producing companies and affiliated farmer organisations– “outgrowers”. The objective of the service is to provide timely information via SMS, with which farmers and commercial sugarcane producing companies can make better decisions, which result in increased production and income per hectare and reduced use of resources.

FB Eye

FB Eye – acronym of Fire-Bombing Eye – is a commercial initiative to improve the firefighting operations using innovative space-based and ground-based technologies.

FB Eye is an innovative platform-as-a-service commercial provision of integrated satellite/airborne Comms/Nav support to the precision water bombing of large wildfires. 

FB Eye will provide to waterbomber’s pilot a near real time information map with precise geographical location of most radiating fire hotspots, being the most effective release target to extinguish rapidly the fire.

SEDDCR

In the SEDDCR project, space-enabled delivery drones were used to assist the National Health Service (NHS) in rural Scotland in the fight against COVID-19. The delivery drones carried critical COVID-19 pathology tests and related medicine between hospitals and medical practices, ensuring that the NHS had access to a fast, frequent and reliable medical logistics system.

PREMUSOS

PREMUSOS uses GNSS and EO imagery in order to identify the best locations in which to place environmental sensors that detect phenomena such as flooding, to accurately place those sensors as they are installed; and to use current EO data to enhance maintenance procedures.

Foresense SEIA

SEIA is a solution supporting distribution network operators to perform faster, safer, more accurate and ecologically friendly asset monitoring and assessments. Our algorithm leverages state-of-the-art technological advances in machine learning to automate the monotonous and repetitive aspects of condition estimation of energy transmission network towers. This allows cost-effective funding decisions based on automated analysis of assets’ condition in aerial photography.

4D Urban Insights creates maps of fast growing areas and makes urban dynamics visible and actionable. By applying Machine Learning, changes in horizontal and vertical spread can be detected automatically and early warnings can be shown to users.

ADVISER

ADVISER (AugmenteD VIrtual reality SErvice for Renewable energy) aims to empower Decision Support satellite and UAVs based i-EM SAT services combined with mixed reality capabilities to provide support for the Planning & Construction and the Operation & Maintenance of renewable energy power plants: VR-AR technologies, coupled with the utilization of space assets, could empower O&M activities, in terms of cost savings, effectiveness of the interventions and safety.

3DE

3DE is a Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solution targeted at the energy sector that facilitates the management of geospatial data for Right of Way Management and Asset Inspection. Using remote sensing technologies (satellite, aircraft, and drones) combined with machine learning techniques, 3DE improves predictive maintenance work practices, increases the safety of operational personnel, and reduces Operations and Maintenance (O&M) costs.
