SmartSatCare

Status date: 13 July 2022

SmartSatCare’s goal was to promote the use of TV-based remote assistance services for medical monitoring with specific relevance during the COVID-19 pandemic. It aimed at integrating the whole system with satellite technologies, and test it on a real territory. The goal was to enhance the teleassistance in different geographical areas, including those rather remote.

STARS

Status date: 19 August 2020

The STARS project aims to deliver a service consisting of the automation of real-time workout parameter registration during swimming workouts. Currently, there is no system available in open water swimming that allows for the real-time registration of both biomechanical and physiological parameters in a wearable and comfortable way.

ECO4CO

Status date: 11 July 2022

ECO4CO is an intelligent and autonomous end-to-end system. It combines data from satellites, Internet, traffic movements and medical information.  The system provides end-users (authorities, civil protection) with notifications, warnings and timely/geolocalised information. ECO4CO aims at providing crucial advice to effectively prevent new outbreaks, to react in advance, and to predict critical situation regarding facilities, medical storage, or mass movements.

AlmEO

Status date: 05 July 2022

AlmEO is an innovative integrated service dedicated to the management of almond orchards using in situ Earth Observation and meteorological data. TerraNIS has developed two tools for the purpose of the AlmEO service provision 1) Vegetation Growth Monitoring and 2) Daily Water Status. Both tools have been developed in collaboration with end-users in order to monitor and compare the vegetative growth of almond plots and to provide irrigation recommendations.

SWAIR

The aviation industry is becoming increasingly dependent on the GNSS-based technologies, at the same time being aware of its vulnerabilities, including those originating from Space Weather. SWAIR responds to that reality with a system providing GNSS and Space Weather monitoring and performance assessment products, compliant with international regulations and recommendations.

CHC

Status date: 29 June 2022

The CHC Project delivers satellite connectivity to health care sites within Cornwall & Scottish Highlands where terrestrial connectivity may be poor. The project team is validating with technology within the health care sector by evaluating the functionality of e-health software platforms on the satellite provided network, and assess benefits of satellite enabled healthcare to staff and patients.

SAT-DEFO

Status date: 29 June 2022

SAT-DEFO application delivers information about mining-induced ground deformations to customers: citizens of the areas which are exposed to such changes, local authorities from mining regions as well as law offices. The service is based on satellite imagery from Sentinel-1 mission to generate subsidence maps and then deliver the information in form of a reports or alerts to the customers.

City DT4DT

Status date: 29 June 2022

City DT4DT is an advanced package of services developed for the urban utilities and municipalities. The package includes a 3D environment, complemented by three space-based monitoring modules, for predictive analyses.

SatADAPT

Status date: 16 June 2022

SatADAPT is a Predictive Maintenance system based on vibration monitoring and AI. The system consists of wireless vibration sensors which send data to an AI engine in the cloud which is also replicated onto Edge devices. The AI looks for anomalies in the frequency spectrum and warns of potential failures, classifies the expected defects, and estimates the time to failure.

SatADAPT

Status date: 09 February 2021

The SatADAPT solution consists of wireless vibration sensors which transmit vibration data from the equipment being monitored to a Gateway that runs a local Artificial Intelligence engine (edge AI). The Edge AI is in turn synchronized with a centralized AI engine which is part of a cloud based Central Management System or CMS. The edge AI engine analyses the data looking for anomalies in the frequency spectrum and warns of potential failures, along with a classification of the expected defects and estimated time left to occurrence.  

OTAM+

The OTAM (Oil Trading Analytics Monitor) is a comprehensive solution for the oil trading analytics market, created by seamlessly combining Earth Observation data with oil analytics data. This new combination of datasets provides actionable insights on the status of the oil market.

VARESAS

VARESAS is a remote support and situational awareness solution that uses newest innovative technologies such as Augmented or Virtual Reality and the direct integration of Earth Observation data.

EnviNavigator

In the project, self-learning AI engine and services for providing up-to-date information on the current state of forests, their risks, and changes in them have been produced for the needs of forest professionals and forest owners by combining satellite data with other data sets relating to forestlands.

EnviNavigator is a customer-tailored EO-based analysis services supported by mobile applications targeted for forestry and insurance businesses. The services offer easy access to most up-to-date forest data by utilizing EO-based change detection with machine learning methods for assessment of storm damages, climate-change-driven risks and predicting carbon balance development.
